Abraham moved to Waterford, CT with his father's family
in 1732.(Source: Harding, Wilber J. (1925). The

Abraham and Anna moved to (Minnisink) Orange County,
New York circa 1761 to a fertile area nine miles east
of the present Fort Jarvis (previously Deer Park).
Abraham soon made his mark as a prosperous farmer and
leading citizen. He was elected as highway master and
fence viewer. During the Revolution, Abraham served as
a Second Lieutenant in the Continental Army, and after
the war was raised to the rank of Captain (1786), and
later Second Major in the State Militia (1794). For
the remainder of his life, he preferred to be addressed
as "Major."

After Anna passed away, the Major moved to Susquehanna
County, PA to live with his grandson, Amos.

There was a question of an Abraham married to a Mercy
Vibber but my finding showed looking at the diary of
Joshua Hempstead New London Ct.Vital Statistics on
Rootsweb that the entry accually reads Abraham Harden
and Mary Vibber Sept.12,1734.I do not beleave this is
our Abraham.
The US GenWeb Project Orange County,New York
1775 Assessment Rolls put Abraham in Orange
Co. NY in proximity of the Dolsons.
The accual record indicates they were both in
district 10 which is discribed as rich Dolsentown
neighborhood, comprising most of the town of
Waywayanda,perhaps extending Eastward across
Wallkill and excluding a portion of the preasant
territory of Goshen, also extending Westward to
include any settlers North and Northeast portions
of Greenville.
I have not confurmed this yet.
Abraham is named as executor of James Dolson
estate. (brother of Anna). (Source: James Dolsons Will)
